It is advised that authors prepare their manuscripts carefully before submission. It is advisable for the authors to submit their manuscripts which are of high quality and will enhance the development of clinical science and evidence-based medicine.

The manuscripts should be original, scientific and ethical and within the scope of the journal.

It is recommended that the authors go through these guidelines prior to the submission of the manuscript so that the process of reviewing becomes easier.

Manuscript Preparation

The manuscript should be written in a professional manner using clear and concise English language. The manuscript should not be published elsewhere or submitted elsewhere for consideration of publication.

It would be prudent for the authors to ensure that their manuscripts have been proofread prior to submission so as to facilitate the editorial process.

A well-formed manuscript will normally contain:

Depending on the nature of the paper, the manuscript structure can differ.

Publication Ethics Requirements

Research with human subjects and animal subjects should obtain proper ethical approvals. If necessary, consent of patients needs to be obtained. Patient privacy must also be maintained in the study.

JCEOR adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and may seek to verify the ethical requirements in its review process.

Originality and Quality

Authors should be certain that their paper is free from plagiarism, data fabrication, duplication, and all kinds of scientific misconduct.

Correct referencing of sources is essential, and plagiarism screening can also be performed prior to peer-reviewing.
